Air is currently developing the wayfinding strategy for the River West Shopping Centre, owned by Noval Property, in the heart of Athens, Greece. Over the past year, Air Design has been refining the wayfinding for key areas of the centre, including public spaces, car parks, and the external public realm. A major part of our involvement stems from the 8000 sqm expansion of the centre, which introduces new anchor tenants, along with an exciting range of cafes, bars, and restaurants set in beautifully landscaped outdoor gardens and water features.

The 21,630 sqm leisure scheme will grow even further, with a rich mix of Greek and international retailers such as H&M, Zara, and the upcoming arrival of Decathlon. The expansion also brings a larger F&B offering with stunning views of the Acropolis and Lycabettus Hill. The centre is equipped with 2,500 parking spaces and notable architectural features, including a retractable roof that opens the mall to the elements, allowing visitors to enjoy the Greek weather and panoramic views of the Attica sky.

Air’s wayfinding strategy will ensure seamless navigation through these enhanced spaces, offering visitors a coherent and pleasant experience as they explore River West’s modern and inviting atmosphere.
