Varsha Srinivasan, we are excited to introduce our talented Interior Designer. Varsha has been with Air for about four years, contributing her unique vision and dedication to every project.

Inspiration

Varsha, what is your background in interior design, and what motivated you to join Air?

“With a Master’s degree in interior design and experience in hospitality and retail design I found the perfect opportunity at Air, as my goals align with their vision of creating places people love.”

Proud Project

Which project at Air are you most proud of, and what makes it stand out to you?

“At Air, every project is unique. My favourite project was designing the F&B unit for the VIVO! Bratislava shopping mall, where we collaborated from concept to tender stage. It was a rewarding experience creating colour and material sample boards, developing 3D visuals, and producing tender drawings.”

Collaboration

How do you collaborate with other designers, and what does that process look like, Varsha?

“As an interior designer, collaborating with other designers is key to a successful project. The process involves multiple stages: discussing the scope of work, concept development, division of tasks, regular progress meetings, and a final review before execution.”

Returning to Work

What has your experience been like transitioning back to Air after maternity leave, Varsha?

“My transition back to work has been smooth and I could not have done this without the support of my colleagues, management and a flexible work environment. It’s been rewarding to reconnect with my work, bringing a fresh perspective and renewed energy to my role.”

Future Goals

Are there specific skills or experiences you aim to develop in your role over the next year?

“In the coming years, I plan to advance my Revit skills and take a BREEAM course as I focus on sustainable design. I also aim to deepen my expertise in wayfinding and signage systems, allowing me to deliver more comprehensive project solutions.”
