Introducing Sarah Yuksel: A New Addition to the Air Design Team

We are excited to introduce Sarah Yuksel, who has recently joined our growing Air Design team. Sarah has already hit the ground running and made a fantastic impact on our projects. As part of our hybrid team, she brings her creativity and expertise to the studio twice a month, offering a fresh perspective to our collaborative workspace. We’re thrilled to see Sarah settling in and making her mark on our wayfinding, branding, and design projects.

Below, Sarah shares her experience transitioning into the team, managing remote work, her future goals, and more:

Sarah’s Transition Experience at Air

As the newest member of our Air team, Sarah, how has your transition into the company been so far?

“My transition into the company has been very easy. The team has been so welcoming, and everyone has gone out of their way to make me feel included. I love that collaboration is encouraged from the very start, and I already feel like a valued member of the team.”

Managing Remote Work: Sarah’s Approach

As a remote worker who comes into the studio twice a month, how do you manage working mostly remotely?

“Since different people on the team usually work from home each day, we use chat a lot to keep up with what everyone is doing. I also make sure to check in regularly with the team and plan my studio trips in advance to stay connected and on track with projects.”

Why Sarah Chose Air: Her Motivation for Joining

What led you to pursue this role at Air, Sarah, and what were you doing before joining us?

“Before joining Air Design, I worked as part of the design team for a large transport consultancy. Although I’ve been part of the wayfinding world for a while now, what excited me about joining Air is the opportunity to work in a specialist studio with a close-knit, passionate team focused on delivering high-quality designs.”

Sarah’s Favourite Projects: What Drives Her

What types of projects do you enjoy most, Sarah, and what are you looking forward to working on in the future?

“I enjoy working on projects where I’m involved from the very beginning. This allows me to understand the space and its users. I also love projects that balance creativity with functionality to create something that genuinely impacts how people interact with a space.”

Sarah’s Goals for Her Role at Air

What are your goals for your role, Sarah, and how do you envision your growth within the team?

“My main goal is to work on projects that challenge me and help me grow as a designer. I also want to take on leadership roles, pushing me to make big decisions and create the best possible solutions for our clients.”

Welcome aboard, Sarah Yuksel – we’re excited to see all that you’ll accomplish at Air Design!
