Air Design is excited to announce our involvement in the branding, wayfinding system, marketing communications, and relaunch campaign for Blanchardstown Centre, Ireland’s largest and most accessible leisure destination. Managed by Falcon and owned by Goldman Sachs, Blanchardstown Centre draws 17 million visitors annually and is undergoing a €32 million expansion to introduce new retail units and flagship stores, further solidifying its place as a key shopping and leisure hub in Dublin.

Located in Blanchardstown, Dublin, Blanchardstown Centre spans 1,100,000 sq ft and offers over 180 stores, including major brands like Dunnes Stores, Zara, H&M, and Marks & Spencer. The centre also features over 25 restaurants, a 9-screen cinema complex, and an ISense theatre, offering immersive film experiences. With a 7,000-space car park, Blanchardstown Centre is not only a retail destination but also a convenient and accessible spot for visitors.

In addition to shopping, the centre benefits from its surrounding area, which includes three retail parks, the Draiocht Arts Theatre, Crowne Plaza Hotel, and Ireland’s largest purpose-built public library. This makes Blanchardstown Centre a vibrant mixed-use hub for both locals and tourists. With its diverse offering of retail, dining, entertainment, and leisure activities, the centre serves as a dynamic destination catering to all needs.

As part of the ongoing expansion, Air Design’s role is to develop a contemporary and recognisable brand identity for Blanchardstown Centre. The new identity will reflect the centre’s welcoming, community-oriented atmosphere, ensuring it stands out in a competitive market. Our work will also focus on improving wayfinding to ensure a seamless experience for visitors, guiding them effortlessly through the centre while reinforcing the refreshed brand.

The relaunch campaign will aim to highlight the centre’s new offerings and its ongoing commitment to providing a top-tier shopping, dining, and entertainment experience. Our efforts will help position Blanchardstown Centre as a premier destination for both Dublin residents and international visitors, ensuring it remains at the heart of the city’s leisure scene for years to come.
