Puerto Venecia Lands Global Top 3 Spot for Retail Influence at MAPIC Awards
Puerto Venecia, located in Zaragoza, is Spain’s largest shopping and leisure resort, boasting over 206,000 m² of retail space, 200+ shops and a massive 7,500 m² lake. Opened in 2012, this “shopping resort” attracts over 20 million annual visitors. In 2025 it was also shortlisted as one of the 3 most influential retail destinations in the world at the MAPIC Awards.
Last year it unveiled a bold new visual identity and we had the privilege of bringing it to life.

Rooted in the belief that great design creates great places, we developed a vibrant, optimistic identity built around the spirit of “We celebrate uniqueness” a brand that reflects the diversity of Puerto Venecia’s visitors and the energy of the resort itself.
The new identity features a dynamic logo with a rich colour palette and geometric forms representing the three pillars of Puerto Venecia: retail, gastronomy, and leisure. From strategy to execution, every touchpoint was considered with the new visual language rolled out across more than 270 customer contact points and 460 wayfinding elements.
