The Tashkent City Mall retail branding and wayfinding project represents a transformative initiative for Uzbekistan’s largest retail and entertainment hub. To begin with, this expansive project boasts a Gross Leasable Area (GLA) of 100,000 sq m. Furthermore, it spans three levels and features over 300 tenants, a business centre, residential spaces, and a five-star hotel, making it a truly multifaceted hub of activity.

In addition to the main Tashkent City Mall retail branding and wayfinding project, Air Design also created impactful B2B marketing materials across both printed and digital platforms. As a result of these efforts, the Mall’s appeal to global retail brands and partners was significantly enhanced.

Furthermore, through elegant design inspired by Tashkent’s historic architecture and culture, the mall has emerged as the regional leader in luxury and sophistication. Therefore, it has firmly cemented its place as Central Asia’s premier lifestyle and entertainment destination.

Setting the standard

Part of a $1.5 billion urban regeneration project, Tashkent City Mall sets a new standard in Central Asia for luxury retail and entertainment. Consequently, it has become a truly multifaceted hub of activity that caters to a wide range of needs and interests.

To achieve this elevated status, a modern sans serif logotype was carefully adapted. Specifically, it features elegant breaks in the letterforms to subtly mirror the refined shapes used in the symbol.

Moreover, these deliberate and thoughtful design decisions ensured that the Mall was successfully positioned as the definitive leader in luxury within the region. Consequently, the Tashkent City Mall now stands as a beacon of excellence in retail and lifestyle experiences, reinforcing its reputation as a destination of choice.
