Air has developed a bespoke set of pictograms for Arabian Centres to promote a safer community by effectively communicating key health and safety regulations to the public. These custom-designed pictograms are carefully aligned with Arabian Centres’ unique branding guidelines, ensuring they seamlessly integrate into their overall visual identity. The bespoke set of icons not only focuses on safety but also aims to make important information easily accessible and universally understood by visitors of all backgrounds, reinforcing a sense of security in each of the centres.

As Saudi Arabia’s number one lifestyle portfolio, Arabian Centres is known for its expansive collection of high-end retail and entertainment destinations. Air’s role in this project is part of a broader initiative to enhance Arabian Centres’ customer experience across the country. This includes rolling out the new pictograms and wayfinding elements as part of their ongoing openings and renovations. Some of the key locations benefiting from these updates include Nakheel Mall, Khaleej Mall, and UWalk, all of which will feature the newly designed safety-focused signage. The goal is to make these spaces more intuitive for visitors, improving navigation while ensuring a welcoming, secure environment that prioritises public health and safety.

In addition to the bespoke set created for Arabian Centres, Air has also developed a set of open-source, universal pictograms, available for free download on our website. These open-source icons are designed to be adaptable and can be used in various settings, making them a valuable resource for any organisation looking to improve the clarity and accessibility of health and safety communications.

This project highlights Air’s commitment to creating functional, visually engaging designs that elevate the customer experience while aligning with our clients’ strategic goals. Through thoughtful design, we aim to promote safety and convenience, ensuring a positive and secure experience for all visitors.
