Happy International Women’s Day!

On 8 March, Air, alongside businesses worldwide, will celebrate the achievements, contributions and impact of women in design and beyond. This day is not just a moment of recognition but a powerful reminder of the progress made towards gender equality and the work that remains to be done.

At Air, we are proud to cultivate an inclusive, creative and empowering environment where everyone can thrive. Women make up 47% of our team, contributing across all levels, from creative and designers to strategic leaders and managers. Their innovation, resilience and leadership shape the work we produce and the culture we build together.

International Women’s Day is about more than celebration, it’s about advocacy, reflection and action. While significant progress has been made, challenges persist and the push for gender equality must continue. Equal opportunities, fair representation and inclusive workspaces are essential in ensuring that every woman has the chance to thrive. From closing the gender pay gap to increasing leadership opportunities and ensuring work-life balance, there is still more to achieve.

Supporting women in the workplace means fostering an environment where their voices are heard, their contributions are recognised and their growth is encouraged. It means creating pathways for mentorship, professional development and leadership while challenging outdated biases and breaking down barriers. At Air, we are committed to these values, not just today but every day.

As we mark this occasion, Melody Larg shares an inspiring message:

“To every woman, a reminder that your voice matters, your contributions are valued, and your potential is limitless. Keep striving, keep creating, and keep pushing boundaries. The future is brighter because of you. Happy Women’s Day!”
— Melody Larg, Senior Designer

Let’s take this moment to celebrate the remarkable women who inspire us, our colleagues, mentors, friends and role models. Their strength, creativity and leadership pave the way for a more inclusive and equitable future. But beyond today, let’s continue to champion progress, uplift one another, and work towards a world where equality is not just an aspiration but a reality.

Together, we can create lasting change.

Happy International Women’s Day!
