Growth and Evolution
How has your role within the company changed over the past 10 years?

“Since joining Air, my role has evolved significantly. I began as a junior designer with limited experience in signage and wayfinding, and now I lead wayfinding design projects, supporting and mentoring the team. Much of my growth is thanks to the opportunities Air has provided, from working on diverse projects to travelling for site visits and in-depth analysis. This hands-on experience has been instrumental in shaping my development and helping me grow into a more strategic and effective designer.”

Reflecting on Your Journey
What are some of the most memorable milestones or achievements you’ve experienced during your 10 years with Air?

“One of the standout moments for me was when Air won the Gold Transform Award for the Kidbrooke Village project. It was a defining achievement, and I’m particularly proud because we didn’t just create signage—we designed a sustainable system that is both functional and aesthetically pleasing. The ability to maintain and update it easily, without sacrificing design or durability, was a challenge we embraced head-on. It felt incredibly rewarding to see all the hard work and innovation pay off, knowing our solution was pushing the boundaries of what signage can be.”

Looking to the Future
Is there a type of signage project you haven’t had the chance to work on yet but would like to?

“I’m really excited by the idea of working on a wayfinding scheme for a museum or gallery. The chance to guide visitors through dynamic, often complex spaces filled with art and history is something that fascinates me. It would push me to think creatively and strategically, adapting to the challenges of such a unique environment. Every project brings new learning, and I believe working in this context would be an exciting way to push my design thinking and discover fresh perspectives on wayfinding.”
