Experience with Company Culture
As a new starter, how would you describe the company culture at Air, and what aspects have stood out to you?”
“I appreciate how passionate everyone is about their work, and, furthermore, I love that our team socials go beyond the typical after-work setting. Interests here vary widely, spanning disciplines like art, photography, architecture, and both product and graphic design. Because of this diversity, we are constantly motivated to explore, dive deep into details, and remain on the cutting edge of what defines good design today.”
Current Work
Can you describe the type of work you’ve been doing since joining?
“So far, I’ve been involved in creating exciting solutions for commercial, residential, and entertainment developments. In addition, I’ve contributed across projects by applying my skills in product design and wayfinding strategy.”
Impact on Collaboration
Can you share an example of how the company culture has positively influenced team dynamics or collaboration?
“The culture here encourages collaboration in many unique ways. For instance, we enthusiastically attend exhibitions and enjoy breakfast catch-ups. Moreover, there’s a great spirit in dedicating time for collaborative activities, where we get to introduce and share our interests. This not only strengthens team bonds but also makes the process fun and enriching.”
Background and Motivation
What is your background, and what motivated you to choose Air?
“I have a background in architecture and graphic design. Previously, I worked in a global transport consultancy and several architectural studios. However, I was motivated to join Air because it is a specialist brand experience design studio. Additionally, I’m excited to take on new challenges and grow while contributing to making places people love.”
Looking Forward
What are your hopes for your journey at Air, and are there specific aspects or projects you’re particularly excited about?
“My goal is to balance my passion with my profession, aligning with the Ikigai philosophy of doing something that I love, that I’m good at, and that contributes to the world. I’m excited about the opportunities at Air, where our work and clients allow us to make a meaningful impact.”
